Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot was born September 28, 1934 in Paris, France. She started acting in 1952 with her first world-famous role being in the 1956 film And God Created Woman. She continued to act until 1973 when she retired and started to focus on animal rights. During the 1990s she became outspoken in her criticism of immigration, some aspects of homosexuality and Islam in France, and has been fined five times for "inciting racial hatred"   Marilyn Monroe (born June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, died August 5, 1962 in Los Angeles) was born Norma Jeane Mortenson. After spending much of her childhood in foster homes, she started modelling in 1946. In 1950, she moved from minor actress roles to more prominent roles. She starred in a series of movies in the 1950s. She died of a drug overdose in 1962 in which neither suicide nor homicide could be ruled out.
